How to Measure a 5-Lug Bolt Pattern

On a 4-lug or 6-lug wheel with an even number of studs, PCD is simply measured directly across the center hub from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the opposite hole. On a 5-lug wheel, holes do not sit directly opposite: you measure from the back edge of one hole to the center of the second hole opposite it (or multiply the center-to-center distance between adjacent studs by 1.7012).
