The Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Pioneer

Developed after the 2011 Fukushima earthquake in Japan, CHAdeMO was designed from day one with bi-directional V2G/V2H power export. While CCS and NACS required years of complex software standards (ISO 15118-20) to enable bidirectional charging, any standard Nissan Leaf with a CHAdeMO port can plug into a bidirectional home inverter to power a house for several days.
