Round Ring vs D-Ring Mechanics

  • Round Ring (Spine Mounted): The center curvature forces sheets into an arc. As the binder fills, paper rubs against the spine rivet, causing curled margins and lower page capacity.
  • D-Ring / Slant D-Ring (Back-Cover Mounted): Features one flat vertical side mounted directly to the back cover. Sheets rest flat against the straight post in a neat vertical stack, increasing usable sheet capacity by 20% to 25% and allowing pages to turn smoothly without catching on spine hinges.
