Official target archery dimensions are governed by World Archery (WA Rules Book 3–Target Archery). In Olympic Recurve competition, archers shoot at a distance of 70 m (76.6 yd) at a 122 cm (48.0 in) target face divided into 10 concentric scoring rings across 5 standard colors (Gold, Red, Blue, Black, White). The central 10-ring has a diameter of 12.2 cm, with an inner X-ring of 6.1 cm.

Official dartboard specifications are standardized by the World Darts Federation (WDF) and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). A regulation bristle dartboard has an outer diameter of 17.75 in (45.1 cm), divided into 20 radial segments. The center bullseye is mounted at exactly 5 ft 8 in (1.727 m) above the floor, with the throwing line (the oche) positioned at a horizontal distance of 7 ft 9¼ in (2.369 m) from the face of the board (9 ft 7⅜ in diagonal).
