The 315 MHz vs 433.92 MHz Regional Frequency Split
Direct TPMS wheel sensors transmit battery status, temperature, and internal psi pressure every 60 seconds. Because of regional spectrum allocations, North American vehicles use 315 MHz, while European and Asian-market vehicles use 433.92 MHz. An imported European wheel set will not communicate with an American vehicle's TPMS receiver module without swapping the internal sensor stems.
